My dear fellow women!
I have come to realize my artistic work right now revolves around women’s rights and advocating women’s autonomy over our bodies, choices, and lives. This manifests itself in many ways and this particular idea involves the help of you who would like to participate.
Please feel free to share the call/event with other women who might want to participate.

My vision is to present hundreds of panties, ONE pair from each of YOU, on which I will print, embroider, paint, or embellish the text I SAID NO, possibly in different languages.

Yes, I am actually asking you to send me a pair of used and cleaned underwear of your choice to represent a situation where you said no, wanted to say no or didn’t dare to say no, to sexual intimacy with someone but you were not being respected. A situation devoid of consent. The panties you choose does not have to be the actual ones you wore but will somehow represent the situation, which could have happened 50 years ago as well as this past summer.

I am also asking you to write down the situation you were in, your thoughts and feelings. Share what you will.
Absolutely NO NAMES of persons or places.
 

• Panties that are not cleaned will not be used.

• Panties without a story will not be used.

• Stories with names will not be used.

• Please be respectful.

For you to know if your panties and story arrived, I will frequently photograph and post what I have received on the FB-page. assigned this project: I SAID NO
I will also post the embroidered panties on instagram.

 

I invite you to send me your panties in two periods (no pun intended).
1. September 20 – February 28, 2025.
2. Depending on the outcome, I might extend the call. To be announced later.
